Thanksgiving Airport Transportation at DFW and Love Field: Getting Home for the Holiday Without the Stress
Thanksgiving week is one of the heaviest travel weeks of the year at both Dallas airports. Here is how to plan your ride to and from the terminal, which days fill up first, and what we need from you to get it right.
Thanksgiving falls on Thursday November 26 this year. That means the Tuesday and Wednesday before it, and the Sunday after it, are going to be crowded at DFW Airport and Love Field. Parking garages fill up, the curbs back up, and rideshare prices climb right when everyone is trying to catch a flight.
Thanksgiving airport transportation with a chauffeur takes all of that off your plate. We track your flight, adjust when it moves, and have the vehicle ready when you are. Whether you are flying out to see family or picking up relatives coming home, the ride is the one part of the trip you do not have to think about.
Who books us for Thanksgiving week
- Families flying out. A pickup from home with room for everyone and their bags, and a return ride booked for the Sunday so nobody has to leave a car at the airport for a week.

Which days fill up, and how long to allow
The busiest days for Thanksgiving airport transportation are Tuesday November 24, Wednesday November 25 and Sunday November 29. Early morning departures on those days go first. If you are flying on one of them, book your ride as soon as your flight is booked.
Holiday traffic on the highways to DFW and Love Field is heavier than normal, and the terminal curbs are slower. We build that into your pickup time when we quote, so you are not left guessing.

Drive times are estimates for normal conditions, not measured routes. Thanksgiving week traffic adds to them, which is why we set the pickup time when we quote. Love Field is usually a similar drive from Dallas and a longer one from the west side.

Your flight number and arrival time
DFW and Love Field arrivals require both. That is how we track the flight and adjust the pickup when it lands early or late.
Included wait time
30 minutes on a domestic arrival, 45 minutes on an international arrival, and 15 minutes on a departure pickup.
Curbside, or met inside
Curbside pickup is the default. If you would rather your chauffeur meet you inside with a name board, choose meet and greet when you book.
Luggage counts
Plan on roughly two pieces per person, one checked and one carry on. Holiday trips often carry more, so tell us and we will send a vehicle with the room for it.
Booking Thanksgiving airport transportation
Before you book
- Book both directions at once. Your outbound ride and your return ride on the same booking, with both flight numbers, so the Sunday return is locked in before it books out.
- No hourly minimum on airport transfers. They are point to point, any day and any hour, including Thanksgiving Day.
- A 20 percent deposit holds the vehicle. It is non refundable, because once booked that vehicle is taken out of the system for your date.
- Cancellation windows depend on the vehicle. 48 hours for sedans and SUVs, 7 days for Sprinter vans, and 14 days for mini buses and motor coaches.
- Child seats. We can provide one at a cost, and you install it. Or bring your own, and we can store it during your trip for 40 dollars and have it back in the vehicle for your return.
- Pets are welcome. A kennel is preferred, and a cleaning fee applies if there is a mess.
Flying privately for the holiday?
- Give us the tail number. We track it where the aircraft is trackable, so the vehicle is in position when you land.
- If it is not trackable, we work from your estimated arrival time and the FBO front desk, which is why FBO pickups are billed hourly with a two hour minimum unless arranged in advance with management.

Is there a minimum for airport rides?

How much luggage fits?
Plan on about two pieces per person. An Escalade ESV seats 6, or 4 with full luggage. A Limo Sprinter seats 13 and holds 18 bags. Tell us your count and we will match the vehicle.

Yes. Give us their flight number and arrival time and we will meet them, help with their bags and bring them straight to your door.
