Close to the airport, which is a blessing and a trap
Lewisville sits about twenty minutes from DFW on a good run. That closeness is the best thing about the city for a traveller, and it is also the reason people miss flights here.
Because the airport feels near, the leaving time gets pushed later and later. Then I-35E does what I-35E does, or the Sam Rayburn backs up, or there is a lane closed south of Round Grove, and twenty minutes becomes fifty. We build the pickup time around the traffic that is actually there on the day, not the distance on a map.
The other thing that shapes this city is the lake. Lewisville Lake brings a completely different kind of weekend, and a completely different kind of booking, than the corridor traffic does on a Tuesday morning.
Lewisville to DFW and Love Field
DFW is the short run, usually twenty to twenty five minutes without incident. Love Field takes longer than people expect, closer to thirty five, because you are crossing the whole northwest side of Dallas to get there.

Addison Airport is the usual FBO choice at roughly twenty five minutes. Alliance and Meacham in Fort Worth run about thirty to thirty five. DFW has its own private terminals if that is where your aircraft is going.

Event bookings run hourly. Sporting events are five to six hours, concerts four to six at a large venue and four at a smaller one. Every trip takes a deposit to hold the date, and deposits are non refundable. Cancellation windows are 48 hours for sedans and SUVs, 7 days for Sprinter vans, and 14 days for mini buses and motor coaches.
