Fifteen minutes from the terminal changes what is possible

Southlake sits closer to DFW International than almost anywhere else we serve. Most of the city is fifteen to twenty minutes from a terminal depending on which one you need, and the run is straightforward enough that a delayed flight is a short repositioning rather than an hour fighting across the metroplex.

That does two things for you. It means we can accommodate later departures than we would recommend from Frisco or McKinney. And it means when a chauffeur is already inbound and your flight slips ninety minutes, we absorb it rather than charging you for a dead vehicle sitting at the curb.

Our own vehicles and chauffeurs run out of Dallas Fort Worth, so a Southlake request is dispatched from close by rather than routed through a national booking platform to whoever bid lowest that morning.

Discretion, more than anywhere else on our list. Sedans and SUVs are unmarked, we sign nondisclosure agreements on request, and our chauffeurs do not make conversation unless you start it. For a good number of the executives we carry here, the whole point is that nobody notices the car.

Southlake to DFW and Love Field

DFW is the default and it is close. Love Field is roughly thirty to thirty five minutes southeast and is worth considering when your flight options allow it, particularly for a Dallas departure. We will tell you which field suits your schedule rather than just quoting the one you name.

The business aviation fields on this side of the metroplex are all inside a short run, which makes Southlake a practical base for anyone flying private into North Texas.

How we handle an FBO arrival

• Tail number tracking where the aircraft is trackable. Where it is not, we confirm arrival directly with the FBO front desk
• Meet and greet is complimentary at FBOs, planeside where the operator allows vehicles on the ramp, otherwise inside the terminal
• Arrivals are billed hourly with a two hour minimum, because private schedules move. A ninety minute slip should not turn into a dispute over a point to point fare
• Departures are standard point to point unless wait time runs past 30 minutes, which converts the trip to hourly, at your call and subject to schedule
• Unmarked sedans and SUVs, NDAs on request. Standard for crew moves, client entertaining, and anyone whose movements are the point

Sabre is headquartered here. Minutes west, the Solana and Westlake campuses hold Charles Schwab, Fidelity and Deloitte University, which together generate a steady flow of visiting executives, training cohorts and client groups arriving through DFW.

Deloitte University in particular runs on a training calendar, which means predictable waves of arrivals and departures rather than one off trips. That is a scheduling problem, and it is solved with a standing arrangement rather than a stack of individual bookings.

• Southlake Town Square: Dinner, Grand Avenue, holiday season evenings and the Hilton. Parking is the whole problem here in December, and it is the one night nobody in the group should be driving.
• Dragon Stadium and Carroll Senior High: Friday nights, homecoming, graduation and prom departures.
• Gateway Church Southlake: Weddings, guest collection and large services.
• Solana and the Westlake campuses: Corporate arrivals, training cohorts and client entertaining.
• Gaylord Texan, Grapevine: Ten minutes east. Conventions year round and ICE! through the holidays, when the resort parking backs onto the access road.
• Texas Motor Speedway: About 25 minutes north. Race weekends are booked hourly, because getting out of there is the actual job.
• Grapevine Main Street: Wine tour circuits, usually five to six hours with the vehicle held between stops.

Event trips are booked as a block of time rather than a one way fare. The roads around any venue are gridlocked for an hour after it ends. Reserving the block keeps the same vehicle and chauffeur with you, somewhere secure for coats and bags, and a guaranteed ride home at the hour you choose.

Prom, homecoming and graduation

Prom season in Southlake commits vehicles across the whole Texas market, and the good units go months in advance. If you are organising for a group, the date to book is the day the school announces it, not the month before.

What parents actually want to know is what happens between the photos and the pickup. So, plainly:

• The vehicle and chauffeur stay with the group for the whole booking. Nobody is stranded and nobody is calling a rideshare at midnight
• Proms and school events run a five to six hour minimum, because that is how long the night actually is
• The itinerary is agreed in writing beforehand, including every stop. The chauffeur does not deviate from it
