Carrollton is one of the best positioned cities in the metroplex for anyone who travels, and almost nothing is written about it. Addison is about ten minutes east, which puts the busiest general aviation field in the area on your doorstep. DFW is roughly 20 to 25 minutes west, shorter than from Frisco, Plano or McKinney. Love Field is about 20 minutes south.

Carrollton crosses three counties and behaves differently in each part. There is the historic Downtown Square with the DART station and the restaurants around it. There is the Old Denton Road corridor, which has one of the strongest Korean business and dining districts in North Texas and brings people in from across the region on a weekend. And there is the industrial and office belt along the tollway and I-35E, which is where most of the corporate work sits.
