Texas Motor Speedway Transportation: Race Weekend Groups
A hundred thousand people, one interstate, and a parking situation that rewards anyone who thought ahead.

Texas Motor Speedway sits off I-35W in far north Fort Worth, and on a race weekend it turns into one of the largest temporary cities in Texas. The crowd is enormous, the campground fills, and the traffic on the approach roads is the whole story.
It is also a long day, which is why Texas Motor Speedway transportation is worth arranging. Races start in the afternoon and people arrive hours early, so self driving groups spend the morning in a queue and the evening in another one. Being dropped and collected changes the entire shape of the day.
What runs at the Speedway
- NASCAR race weekends, the anchor events, usually spanning several days.
- IndyCar and support series depending on the season calendar.
- Corporate hospitality and suite groups, which is a large part of what we carry here.
- Non race events including festivals and large scale drive throughs at the holidays.
Race weekend access
Access and credentialing change from event to event at the Speedway more than at any other venue on this list. We confirm the arrangement for your specific date rather than working from last year.
If your tickets or hospitality package include a parking credential, send it to us and we will use it. That is generally cheaper than buying one separately. Where we need to purchase on your behalf, we do that at booking and bill it back.
Your chauffeur stays onsite through the event and shares his live position so you are not walking a mile looking for a black vehicle in a field of them.
| Coming from | Allow |
|---|---|
| Frisco and Plano | 40 to 55 min |
| Dallas | 50 to 65 min |
| Fort Worth | 25 to 35 min |
| Denton | 20 to 30 min |
| DFW Airport | 30 to 40 min |
| Alliance FBO | 10 to 20 min |
Drive times are estimates for normal conditions. Event traffic changes them, which is why we set the pickup time when we quote rather than leaving it to you to guess.

How our chauffeurs work an event
Race weekends are their own animal. Highway 114 backs up for hours after the checkered flag, so your chauffeur is positioned before the race ends rather than joining the queue with everyone else. He stays with the vehicle for the whole booked block and comes to you on a message. More on how we run event days is on our sporting event transportation page.
Booking Texas Motor Speedway transportation
Before you book
- Parking passes. Where the venue requires one we arrange it at booking. Bring your own if it came with your tickets, otherwise we buy it and it goes on the invoice.
- Hourly minimums. Race weekends are booked hourly and generally run longer than a five to six hour arena block. We quote the day against your schedule.
- A deposit holds every trip and is non refundable. Cancellation windows vary by vehicle and are listed on our pricing page.
- Book the big dates early. The larger vehicles go first, and on peak weekends they go weeks ahead.
Flying in for this one? Airport pickups are point to point with no hourly minimum and include wait time. Details are on our airport transfers page.
Flying in privately?
- Give us the tail number. We track it where the aircraft is trackable, so the vehicle is in position when you land rather than after. FBO pickups are billed hourly with a two hour minimum, and meet and greet at an FBO is free. Full detail is on our private aviation page.

Questions we get asked
How far is Texas Motor Speedway from Frisco?
About 40 to 55 minutes in normal conditions. On race day the approach traffic is the variable, so we set the pickup time based on the event schedule rather than the map.
Do you need a credential to drop off?
Usually. Access rules change from event to event at the Speedway, so we confirm the arrangement for your specific date. If your package includes parking, send it and we will use yours.
Can the vehicle stay all day?
Yes, that is how most race bookings work. It is billed hourly and your chauffeur stays onsite and in contact for the whole block.
Do you carry corporate hospitality groups?
Regularly. Mini buses and motor coaches for larger parties, Sprinters for smaller ones, and we can run more than one vehicle in convoy for a big group.
What if the race is delayed by weather?
It happens. Your chauffeur is onsite and in contact, so we adjust rather than leave. Extended time beyond the booked block is billed at the hourly rate.
Do you pick up from Alliance or Meacham for race weekend?
Yes. Give us the tail number where the aircraft is trackable. FBO pickups are hourly with a two hour minimum unless arranged in advance with management.
