Choctaw Casino Transportation: The Grand Theater Run

Choctaw Casino and Resort sits in Durant, about an hour north of the Metroplex on the other side of the Red River. It is a AAA Four Diamond property, and it has grown a great deal over the last few years with new hotel towers and a large conference operation.
For our customers the draw is usually the Grand Theater. Roughly three thousand seats, a two time Academy of Country Music winner for casino theater of the year, and a room intimate enough that there is no bad seat.
That is the appeal of Choctaw casino transportation. An hour up with your friends or family, somebody else driving, and nobody working out who is staying sober on the way home.
What draws groups to Durant
- Choctaw Grand Theater. About 3,000 seats and a steady run of country, rock and comedy names.
- The casino floor and dining. Thousands of games, a large poker room and a long list of restaurants.
- Conferences and corporate events, with over a hundred thousand square feet of meeting space.
- Overnight stays. The resort has well over a thousand rooms across its towers if you want to stretch the trip.
How the run works
Roughly an hour from the northern edge of the Metroplex, a little more from Dallas or Fort Worth. That hour is the whole argument for a chauffeur, in both directions.
Leave the drop location to us. Your chauffeur knows which entrance suits the theater and which suits the floor, and he will put you at the right door rather than the nearest one.
He then stays onsite and in contact throughout, sharing his live location by WhatsApp or sending a pin drop. Whether the show ends at ten or you stay until two, the vehicle is where you were told it would be.

Drive times are estimates for normal conditions. Event traffic changes them, which is why we set the pickup time when we quote rather than leaving it to you to guess.
Round trip service from Frisco, Plano and McKinney
Almost every Choctaw booking we take is a round trip. We collect you at home, run you up to Durant, and the same chauffeur in the same vehicle brings you back. Nobody has to drive, nobody has to work out who is staying sober, and nobody is walking a dark lot at one in the morning looking for a car.
Regular pickup points for the Choctaw run include Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, Little Elm, The Colony, Denton, Dallas and Fort Worth. Groups flying in for a show are usually collected at DFW or Love Field and taken straight north. We also run the same trip to WinStar in Thackerville, which is about an hour west of Choctaw.

Durant is about an hour and a half each way, so the driving is the part people are glad to hand over. Your chauffeur stays with the vehicle for the whole booked block, and after a Grand Theater show one message brings him to the door rather than you finding him in the lot. Before you book
- Parking passes. Where the venue requires one we arrange it at booking. Bring your own if it came with your tickets, otherwise we buy it and it goes on the invoice.
- Casino runs are priced hourly, start to finish. Day or night, the clock runs from your pickup to your drop back home, and the vehicle and chauffeur stay with you for the whole booking.
- Going up one way and collected another day? That carries a 4 to 6 hour minimum depending on the vehicle you ask for.
- A deposit holds every trip and is non refundable. Cancellation windows vary by vehicle and are listed on our pricing page.
- Book the big dates early. The larger vehicles go first, and on peak weekends they go weeks ahead.

What fits your group
A casino night is not an airport transfer. The drive is long enough that the inside of the vehicle matters, which is why the larger units get booked far more often for Durant than they do for anything local. These are the ones people ask for by name.
- Stretch limousine. Ten seats, and still the vehicle most people picture when they think of a casino night. Popular for birthdays and anniversaries.
- Limousine Sprinter. Thirteen seats with a party layout inside and a roof high enough to stand under. The most requested vehicle we run into Oklahoma.
- Executive Sprinter. Fourteen seats in a quieter executive layout, which is the usual choice for corporate groups and for families.
- Limo bus. Twenty or thirty five passengers, for a large party where the ride up is meant to be part of the night.
- Sedan or Escalade. For couples and small groups who would rather keep the trip simple.

Questions we get asked
How far is Choctaw Casino from Dallas?
About an hour from the northern edge of the Metroplex and roughly an hour and a half from Dallas proper. Choctaw is in Durant, further east than WinStar.
How big is the Grand Theater?
About three thousand seats. It has twice been named casino theater of the year by the Academy of Country Music, and the room is small enough that the seats stay close to the stage.
What is the difference between Choctaw and WinStar?
Two separate resorts about an hour apart. WinStar is in Thackerville with the 6,500 seat Lucas Oil Live. Choctaw is in Durant with the 3,000 seat Grand Theater.
Which vehicle works best?
Sprinters and limo buses for groups, because the drive is long enough that the ride is part of the night. Sedans and Escalades for couples and small parties.
Can we stay overnight and be collected the next day?
Yes. Overnight trips add hotel and per diem for the chauffeur to the quote, and we will lay it out clearly before you commit.
Do you go to WinStar as well?
Regularly. WinStar is in Thackerville and has the larger concert room.
What does a limo to Choctaw Casino cost?
Casino runs are quoted hourly from your pickup to your drop back home, so the price depends on the vehicle and on how long you want it. Do you run limo buses and stretch limousines to Choctaw?
Yes. Stretch limousines, Limousine Sprinters and limo buses all run the Durant trip regularly, and for a lot of groups the vehicle is half the reason for booking. Larger units go first on busy weekends, so book early.
Can you collect us in Plano, Frisco or McKinney?
Yes. Those three are among our most common pickups for Choctaw, along with Allen, Prosper, Little Elm, Denton, Dallas and Fort Worth. We are based in Frisco, so the northern suburbs are the shortest run of all.
Is there a minimum if we only want a one way trip?
A one way run up with a pickup on another day carries a 4 to 6 hour minimum depending on the vehicle requested. A standard round trip is simply billed hourly from start to finish.
