Formula 1 Austin Transportation from Dallas Fort Worth
We collect you in North Texas, drive you to Austin, and stay with you for the whole race weekend. Same vehicle, same chauffeur, Thursday through Sunday, then home again. No airport, no rental counter, no surge pricing, no walk across a field in the Texas heat.
Start the weekend at your front door, not at a gate
Most transportation offered for the United States Grand Prix starts once you are already in Austin. You still have to get there, and that is the part that goes wrong. Flights on race weekend are expensive and full. Rental cars sell out. Rideshare during a weekend that has drawn more than 430,000 people in recent years is unreliable at exactly the hours you need it.
Goodman Executive Sedan does the whole thing. We pick you up in Plano, Frisco, Dallas, Fort Worth or anywhere else in North Texas, we drive the roughly three hours down, and the vehicle and chauffeur stay in Austin with your group for the weekend. Track in the morning, dinner downtown at night, back to the hotel whenever you are ready. Then we drive you home.
These are our own vehicles and our own chauffeurs making the trip, not a handoff to a company you have never spoken to. We have worked this race weekend before, and we know how long the exit takes.
Your vehicle for the weekend, not just for the ride.
The 2026 race weekend
The United States Grand Prix runs at Circuit of the Americas, which sits in Del Valle about 15 miles southeast of downtown Austin. For 2026 the schedule expands to four days for the first time, with a preview day added ahead of the usual three.
Preview day at the circuit. The newest addition to the weekend, and the quietest day to be on the roads.
Track action begins in earnest. Evening entertainment at the circuit runs after the cars stop.
Qualifying day and the busiest arrival day. Traffic in and out of the circuit is at its heaviest.
Race day. The exit afterward is the single hardest movement of the weekend to get right.
Most of our groups arrive Thursday or Friday and travel home Sunday night or Monday morning. A Monday return is usually the calmer choice, and it costs nothing extra if the vehicle is already committed to your group.
How the race weekend package works
Race weekend is not booked like an airport run. The vehicle is not shuttling other customers between your trips, it is parked and waiting for you, and the chauffeur is staying in Austin for the duration. So it is quoted as a package rather than as separate rides.
- Ten hours as directed each day. You set the times. Track in the morning, back to the hotel to change, dinner and out again in the evening.
- Three day minimum. This is standard across every operator working the race. Vehicles are committed to one group for the weekend.
- One package price per vehicle. The drive down from Dallas, the drive back, and the chauffeur's lodging in Austin are all folded into it. No separate travel line and no lodging line appearing later.
- The same chauffeur all weekend. He learns your group, your bags, your timing and your preferred pickup point after the first day.
- Multiple vehicles run together. Larger parties and corporate groups are dispatched as a set with one point of contact.
Bags and belongings stay in the vehicle all day.
Call or send a request and we will quote your dates, your group size and your pickup point directly. Corporate accounts can be invoiced on monthly terms rather than paid trip by trip.
The vehicles going to Austin
We commit a set number of vehicles to the race and deliberately hold the rest of the fleet back in Dallas for our home market. That means race weekend capacity is genuinely limited, and it goes on a first committed basis.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Executive Mercedes Sprinter | 14 | Corporate groups, sponsor guests, families travelling together with luggage for the weekend |
| Cadillac Escalade ESV or GMC Yukon XL | 6, or 4 with full luggage | Small parties, private jet arrivals, couples and executives who want a discreet unmarked vehicle |
Larger parties can be covered with more than one vehicle, or with a mini bus or motor coach brought down for the weekend. Tell us the head count and the luggage and we will tell you honestly what fits.
Full size SUVs for smaller parties and private jet arrivals.
What race weekend actually looks like
Getting to the circuit
The roads into Circuit of the Americas back up badly on qualifying and race day. A chauffeur who has worked the weekend knows when to leave and which approach to take, and you are dropped close in rather than parked a long walk away.
Parking passes
On site parking at the circuit requires a pass bought in advance, and passes sell out. Tell us at the time of booking whether you hold one. If a pass is required for our vehicle to enter, it has to be arranged before the weekend, not on the day.
Leaving after the race
The Sunday exit is the hardest part of the weekend. Your vehicle is already staged, your chauffeur is waiting, and your belongings have been in the car all day. You leave when you decide to, not when a queue lets you.
Austin in the evening
The city is full all weekend and rideshare pricing climbs with it. Downtown dinners, hospitality events and the entertainment after the track action are all inside your as directed hours at no extra cost.
Who books us for the Grand Prix
- Corporate sponsors and their guests. Race weekend is a hospitality event as much as a sporting one. Consolidated monthly billing and a single invoice for the whole movement.
- Private jet arrivals. Guests flying into Austin privately, often in Saturday and out Sunday. We meet the aircraft at the FBO and cover the ground for the stay.
- Groups of friends from North Texas. Six to fourteen people who would otherwise take three cars, split the driving and argue about who is staying sober.
- Families. The four day format makes this a real trip now, not just a Sunday. Nobody has to drive Interstate 35 twice in a weekend.
- Concierge and event planners. We work with concierge firms managing itineraries for executives and athletes, and we can hold capacity ahead of a confirmed booking.
Before you book
How race weekend bookings work
A deposit holds the dates. Every trip requires a deposit to lock in the date and time, and deposits are non refundable. Race weekend fills earlier than anything else on our calendar.
Cancellation windows by vehicle. Sedans and SUVs 48 hours, Sprinter vans 7 days, mini buses and motor coaches 14 days. Late cancellations are charged in full. The exact terms are listed on your signed confirmation.
Venue parking passes are mandatory where the venue requires one, and are arranged at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed with management.
Charges may be processed from seven days before the reservation date.
Gratuity goes to your chauffeur. On long days and in larger vehicles it is applied automatically so the chauffeur is covered on the trips where the stakes are highest.
