The Colony sits in an unusually convenient spot. State Highway 121 puts DFW about twenty five minutes away, which is a shorter airport run than Frisco, Plano or McKinney manage. Lake Lewisville is on your doorstep. And Grandscape has turned the city into somewhere people drive to from three counties for an evening.

That mix produces three quite different jobs: quick efficient airport work, lake and Tribute event work, and Grandscape group nights where the whole point is that nobody drives home.

We are ten minutes away

Our base is in Frisco, just east. A request here is dispatched from close by rather than routed through a national platform to whoever bid lowest that morning, which matters most at eleven at night when a group is standing outside a restaurant.

Group evenings and the parking problem

Grandscape is the reason most people outside The Colony have heard of it. Scheels, Nebraska Furniture Mart, the wheel, and a row of restaurants that fill up every weekend. It is also a very large site with parking that empties slowly, which makes it an obvious case for booking a vehicle rather than driving.

Lake Lewisville

The Tribute, the marinas and lakeside weddings

The Tribute is a links style golf community on a peninsula out into Lake Lewisville, and it hosts a steady run of weddings and corporate golf. The catch is that it is a long way in from the main road and the surrounding roads are dark and unlit at night, which is not where you want guests navigating after a reception.

For a wedding out at The Tribute, the guest shuttle is worth more than most couples expect. It runs hourly and by vehicle rather than per person, and it means nobody is driving unlit lake roads at midnight.

The Colony to DFW and Love Field

DFW is roughly 25 minutes southwest on 121, which is one of the better airport runs in this part of the metroplex and noticeably shorter than from Frisco or Plano. Love Field is about 30 to 35 minutes southeast.

• Flight tracking on every booking. We adjust to your actual landing time, not the schedule
• Complimentary wait time: 30 minutes on domestic arrivals, 45 on international, 15 on departures. A rideshare driver waits about five
• Curbside is standard. Meet and greet inside at baggage claim with a name sign is a $25 add on chosen at booking
• Airport transfers are always point to point. No hourly minimum, any day, any hour
• Standing accounts for regular flyers, with preferences on file and monthly billing

FBO arrivals from The Colony

• Addison Airport (ADS): About 25 minutes east. Million Air Dallas, Atlantic Aviation and Galaxy FBO. Customs on site.
• McKinney National (TKI): About 35 minutes northeast. McKinney Air Center, US Customs available, faster turns than the Dallas fields.
• Dallas Love Field (DAL): About 30 to 35 minutes southeast. One of the busiest private jet fields in the country.
• Denton Enterprise (DTO): About 25 minutes northwest, a practical option on this side of the lake.

How we handle an FBO arrival

• Tail number tracking where the aircraft is trackable. Where it is not, we confirm arrival directly with the FBO front desk
• Meet and greet is complimentary at FBOs, planeside where the operator allows vehicles on the ramp, otherwise inside the terminal
• Arrivals are billed hourly with a two hour minimum, because private schedules move
• Departures are standard point to point unless wait time runs past 30 minutes, which converts the trip to hourly
• Unmarked sedans and SUVs, NDAs on request

Sedans and SUVs are unmarked, and we sign nondisclosure agreements on request. Vehicles are assigned by what is closest and available for your date and time.
