The airport is the reason to know McKinney

McKinney National is the quiet advantage of this whole side of the metroplex. It turns faster than the Dallas fields, it has customs on site, and it puts you on the ground in Collin County without the drive from DFW or Love. For anyone flying private into North Texas for a meeting in Frisco, Plano or McKinney itself, it is usually the right call and often nobody tells them.

We are based in Frisco, about twenty minutes west, which means a McKinney National arrival is a short reposition for us rather than a trek. When an aircraft slips ninety minutes, that matters.

The other McKinney

Away from the airport, McKinney is one of the few places in this area with a genuine downtown. The Historic Square has restaurants people actually drive to from Frisco and Plano, and it fills up on a Saturday night. Parking around the square is limited and the streets are narrow, which is exactly the situation where a chauffeur waiting at an agreed point earns their fee.

McKinney National and FBO arrivals

McKinney National (TKI) sits just east of US 75 and is the fastest private arrival into Collin County. US Customs is available on the field, and turns are typically quicker than Addison or Love Field simply because there is less traffic ahead of you.

How we handle an FBO arrival

• Tail number tracking where the aircraft is trackable. Where it is not, we confirm arrival directly with the FBO front desk
• Meet and greet is complimentary at FBOs, planeside where the operator allows vehicles on the ramp, otherwise inside the terminal
• Arrivals are billed hourly with a two hour minimum, because private schedules move. A ninety minute slip should not turn into a dispute over a point to point fare
• Departures are standard point to point unless wait time runs past 30 minutes, which converts the trip to hourly, at your call and subject to schedule
• Unmarked sedans and SUVs, NDAs on request. Standard for crew moves, client entertaining, and anyone whose movements are the point
• Onward runs to Frisco, Plano, Allen and Prosper held hourly, so the vehicle stays with you through the meeting rather than leaving and coming back

McKinney to DFW and Love Field

DFW is roughly 45 minutes southwest, Love Field about 35 to 40. Both are long enough runs that departure timing genuinely matters, and both are worse than the map suggests during the US 75 and PGBT morning peak. We build the departure time around what those corridors are actually doing rather than an estimate.
